It rather looks like a Xine bug than a Kaffeine bug...
A xine bug? It's still present on 1.1.12...
I had got maybe similar problem. I delete all empty playlists and problem has not happened.
I haven't created any playlists, but the problem is present.
I'd suggest to report this problem to xine. Even if you run the latest xine version it doesn't mean it's bug free.
