Description Michal Hlavac 2007-10-17 22:55:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When I am trying to connect through authenticated proxy connection I get "File or folder www.cnn.com does not exists".
Comment 1 Thiago Macieira 2007-10-18 09:48:01 UTC
More information.
Comment 2 Michal Hlavac 2007-10-18 13:55:10 UTC
This problem starts in 3.5.7 version. When I was trying to connect, konqueror ask me for username and password or read it from wallet. After that konqueror said: "File or folder URL does not exists"

kio (KIOJob): error 11 www.archlinux.org
Comment 6 bfg9000it 2007-11-07 11:10:39 UTC
found a workaround installing ntlmaps.
now konqueror proxy authentication works but the problem is bigger than this: i've noticed that is no more possible to open any windows share (with kde file manager or smb4k) inside the active directory windows domain here at my job.
may be is connected with changes to kerberos?
Comment 7 defihu 2008-04-04 03:46:05 UTC
I confirm this. No change in 3.5.9.
If I replace kio_http (/usr/lib/kde3) from version 3.5.7 (debian package kdelibs4c2a 3.5.7.dfsg.1-7) it works again.
Opening Windows shares with this workaround is alright as well.
Comment 8 andreas 2008-05-14 14:53:09 UTC
I also got this problem after an upgrade from 3.5.7 to 3.5.8 under gentoo.
This is behind an ms-isa-proxy...

Is same as (or at least very similar to) http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138414
