Description M@trixX 2007-10-14 12:30:26 UTC
Version: 0.7 (using KDE 3.5.6, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-13mdv

If in name of menu item is character like ú,ä,ô,ľ,š,č,ť,ž,ý,á,í,é,ř,ů (central europe characters) in menu one or more rectangle or question mark (like when character isn't in font) appears.
It looks like KMenu use another charset than KMenu editor

I have seen it in Mandriva 2007.1 and 2008.0 (KDE 3.5.6 and 3.5.7); charset is UTF-8

I cannot reproduce this in KDE 4. Please reopen if you can. KDE 3 is no longer being developed.
