Description Magnus Määttä 2007-10-13 14:45:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I have a Logitech MX518 mouse but I don't get the options in KControl to configure the special features of Logitech mice. The mouse is pretty much like MX500, same number of buttons but 1800 dpi.

Product ID for it is: 0xC051
The same mouse can also have this product ID: 0xC01E

I: Bus=0003 Vendor=046d Product=c051 Version=0110
N: Name="Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse"
P: Phys=usb-0000:00:02.0-2/input0
S: Sysfs=/class/input/input4
H: Handlers=mouse1 event4 ts1
B: EV=7
B: KEY=ff0000 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
B: REL=103

I'm using evdev in X for it.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
