Version: Kmail 1.9.6, enterprise 20070904.708012 with KDE 3.5.7 release 72 from OpenSuse 10.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux When reading email, and an attempt is made to change folders, sometimes KMail freezes. The highlight changes in the navigation column, but the messages don't reflect that column. If I then select another folder, I can return to the one I clicked on previously, and this time it will work normally. (When this occurs, the highlighted folder changes, but the messages in the display don't.)
Also occurring in Gentoo (amd64 Linux-2.6.22-gentoo-r8) with Kmail 1.9.7, exactly as described by Robert Smits.
Also in Mandriva Spring, with kmail 1.9.7.
It appears to be occurring in a variety of distros...any word on when this will be looked at?
Also OpenSUSE 10.2 w/ KDE 3.5.8. Now loosing mail (reappears on restart) and so slow to respond as to be useless. This is a "work stoppage" or "switch to Thunderbird or Claws" level of a problem.
This was first reported on October 2007. Is it being looked at?
Tested several times on 1.9.10. Everytime message list and preview is refreshed. Works fine.
