Version: 1.9.6 (enterprise 20070904.708012) (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 79.2" , openSUSE ) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.3-ccj53-default KMail 1.96 In the Address Book window I can add and delete addresses. However when I click the SELECT button to add addresses to a new message, an address (invite@invite.realage.com) is in the list of addresses, and this address is not in my address book, and not in my recent addresses list. I've already cleared my recent addresses completely. There is no way to delete this entry from the Address Book because it's not there, but it is in the dropdown list supplied by SELECT.
I've never seen such weird behaviour of the address list. Do you still experience that problem with a more recent version of kmail?
I'm not able to reproduce this bug too. Could you try a more recent version of kmail?
I quit using KMail and switched to Evolution and the problem went away :-) I use Gnome desktop exclusively now because KDE was just too buggy for me. --- On Sat, 6/27/09, FiNeX <finex@finex.org> wrote: > From: FiNeX <finex@finex.org> > Subject: [Bug 150364] Cannot delete some addresses > To: node3203@yahoo.com > Date: Saturday, June 27, 2009, 5:22 AM > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150364 > > > FiNeX <finex@finex.org> > changed: > > What > |Removed > |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Status|UNCONFIRMED > |NEEDSINFO > > CC| > > |finex@finex.org > Resolution| > > |WAITINGFORINFO > Summary|KMail > Address Book-cannot |Cannot delete some > > |delete some addresses > |addresses > > > > > --- Comment #2 from FiNeX <finex finex org> > 2009-06-27 15:22:15 --- > I'm not able to reproduce this bug too.
