Description Robin T. 2007-09-28 22:17:51 UTC
Version: 0.12.4 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

I was using Win98 for a very (or better too) long time and there I had the Multiprotocolclient Trillian in version 3.1. In Trillian there was a feature, with that you were able to group all the offline contacts into one group. so that you have all the offline contacts on the list, but nor in there certain(?) group. example:
I have 10 contacts on my contact list.
3 in the first group
4 in the second
and 3 in the third group
from the first group are all the contacts online, no problem, from the second 2 are off, and from the third, one is off. Trillian creates an own group, called "offline contacts", and there are all the contacts, that are offline, listed. So in this group there are 3 contacts in this new group. But when they come online, they are back in their certain groups.
I hope you understand what I wanted to say...

greetings, Mihawk aka Robin

PS: sorry for my bad english :(

Are you aware that it is possible to hide the offline contacts?

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
