Description 246824681 2007-09-25 00:05:19 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.7-0ubuntu1~feisty2)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-16-generic

any kind of usb memory, celphone with microsd, digital camera with SD-card, and I guess any other device like this, I have to be very carefull when I save files on it, to download them to the harddisk is no Problem.
The very big and ugly problem is, that when I copy or move anything to a memory like this, it gets the 100% much fastre than it really is, so If the cellphone camera or anything else, doesn't have anything that tells me its still transfering data, and I disconnect, I lose some or all files I'm trying to move, so I usually just use copy and delete after checking the copy result, but today I'm fucking angry couse I didn't be this extremly carefull and I lost some files... I'm close to change to gnome....

further even if there's really no data traffic at all I get an error message when tryieng so safly remove andy of my usb devices, but I guess this is not a konqueror problem and it doesn't really matter to me...

Not KDE's fault, closing.
