Version: 0.12.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 3.4.6 OS: Linux Jabber contacts: The menu entry for renaming contacts in the contact list is missing - it is not there anymore - neither in the Edit Menu, nor in the mouse-right-click context menu (in contradiction to the Kopete Handbook). The only way to rename contacts is highlighting the contact and then pressing F2. In earlier versions of Kopete there has been a "Rename Contact" entry in those menus - as described in the handbook.
This doesn't even seem to be an option for any metacontact or contact in Kopete in SVN. So should this be changed to a "Feature Request" to add "Rename.." in the context menu for metacontacts in upcoming versions?
You can always use "Right click" -> "Properties" -> "Display Name Source"
So maybe this should be changed to a "wishlist" item instead of a bug.
Ok, you're right. But at least the handbook / help section should be changed appropriately. Is it a documentation bug then or should I close this as resolved?
