Hi,

It could be a great idea to handle different collections whithin Amarok.
Since I:
- often discover new music (and store it in temporary folders)
- listen to auto-produced music made by local bands (that must not be mixed with commercial music),
- have movie soundtracks in my collections,
and for many other reasons, I'll greatly appreciate to organize all of these groups into different collections.

Another way to fix it could be to define user-configuration "views" of the entire collection, where every album can be associated to one or multiple views.
I think some of you will advise me to use labels, I really think about something intergrated into the GUI and more user-friendly (a kind of choice list)

Since I've discovered Amarok, I really enjoy many stuff in there (such as the wikipedia context panel, the tagging abilities, the cover downloads, the lyrics plugins, etc.) and I really really want to thank all of the developers for creating this GREAT music player !
