Installed from:    Debian stable Packages

Debian Etch
running stable, Kooka also works fine
Without any visible reason, Kooka crashes, when starting a prescan or scan and sends SIGNAL 11 (SIGSEGV).

Debian testing and Debian stable, one year in between.
Different crash-reports as far as I can see.
This time k3b is not involved.
Is it really a duplicate?
Can something be read from the crash-reports?

Equal backtraces often show equal problems, that's why it's a dupe. The symptoms of the real problem may be different.

scanner: Mustek BearPaw 2448 cs plus
driver: Mustek BearPaw 2448 TA Plus at gt68xx:libusb:001:006

scan mode: color
source: flatbed
resolution: from 100 to 2400

steps of useing app:
1. scan some pic.
1.1 experimenting with all resolution, if selection more then 2Mb, scan
    going not smoothly (going front and back, front and back ...)
2. delete img (in "gallery" window) from kooka gallery list, all at once.
2.1. ! sample of thumbnails (in "thumbnail" window) still egzist, can 
     select, but no effect.
3. close kooka app, boom crash error.
