Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-08-19 15:01:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Edit new item, click on the [open] button, the dialog will appear where you can choose path. Let's focus on edit-box,
I type
/home/macias/.wine

Bugs:
1) there is no visual change in the upper pane, i.e. this directory is not shown, so the rest I have to also edit manually
2) as soon I hit enter, the entry changes to file:///home/macias/.wine/ I am not sure the directory is a file and what for is that file:// added after all?
3) the path is obviously valid but Kmenueditor does not accept it

2) and 3) are fixed already,

1) is a kdelibs problem when Show Hidden Filenames is off. To fix this it would be nice if a manually entering a hidden path would cause the subtree for the hidden part of the subpath to become visible in the tree even if Show Hidden is off.
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2018-04-13 19:34:00 UTC
All 3 are fixed now in KDE Frameworks 5.45!
