Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Text mail, not html. I don't mind word wrapping when forwarding (see: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45288 ) but please do not do this on URL address. http://www.accuweather.com/world-index-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&loccode=EUR|PL|PL002|TORUN This address is recognized correctly in KMail when viewing, but when I forward it (mail I mean) it will get wrapped and then (again in KMail) it is not recognized correctly because it cannot -- it is now splitted into two lines. http://www.accuweather.com/world-index-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&loccode=EUR| PL|PL002|TORUN Please, keep all recognized URL addresses intact.
I just tried to reproduce this bug on trunk r948809 and for me it depends on the "wordwrapping" setting in my composer. If wrapping is set, the url gets wrapped, if it isn't set, the url isn't wrapped. Mails received look like the ones sent ie. wrapped forwarded mails have the url wrapped, not-wrapped forwarded mails don't have the url wrapped.
This is about the general problem of line breaks inside of URLs *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 163609 ***
