Description Tobias Niwi 2007-08-02 19:09:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

The search funktion of kpdf doesn't pay attention to cases where a word is hyphenated. Example: If I seach for "example" "ex-ample" would not be found. This is not as it should be because it unpredictable for users in which ways a word could be hyphenated. This makes full text searches with kpdf rather unreliable.

Adobe Reader has this feature.

KPDF is no longer under development so i'm moving this feature request to okular as i think it makes sense
