Version:           0.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, Debian Package 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-2 (lenny/sid))
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22-1-amd64

If I download this EU document (http://ec.europa.eu/idabc/servlets/Doc?id=29101 ) and view it with KGhostview. it works fine. However, with KPDF I can only see the first 40 pages. Next pages are blank.

Not really, the problem seems located in pages 40-41. If you directly skip to 45 and on they should be fine.

it's not broken, just VERY SLOW
