Description christophe 2007-07-23 12:52:19 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux

Frequently, the kde components become inactive during approximatively 10 minutes.
During this time, if I try to launch konqueror, nothing happen. If I try to suspend my computer with kpowersave or try to connect an external DD, nothing happen.
It's just after a few minutes that it become active. It's as if it suddenly becomes unlocked: Everything I have done before is suddenly executed: the konqueror windows open, the external DD is mounted or the computer suspend.
This bug appears frequently. If I do a "Top" when it appears, the CPU is not particularly overloaded (less than 20 %)

Do you still experience this with a recent KDE3 or KDE4 version ?
The delay remembers me a issue related to the "loopback" device not being properly working when using KDE3.
Thanks
