Description dave 2007-07-03 04:20:25 UTC
Version: 2.2rc1 (using KDE 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8.tex5

Opening incomplete video opens results in Opening in KWrite:

Not nessesarily all incomplete files, but any file that does not have enough data to Preview opens in KWrite

A Bug/Wishlist IMO

Why is this a problem ? You will get the same behavior if you open the file in konqueror ?
Comment 2 dave 2007-07-15 06:06:10 UTC
Exactly, and opening up a 700MB file in Kwrite tends to confuse your computer.

Not sure if this happens in konqueror too, but since its all KDE its more of a KDE bug i guess
Comment 3 Joris Guisson 2007-07-15 09:20:25 UTC
Seeing that we use KRun to open the files, this is a kdelibs problem
