Description David 2007-06-26 22:12:02 UTC
Version: future (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Sitebar's position in dolphin should be configurable.
Should be on left or right, top or bottom.
If on top or bottom, item image should be on the left, info in the middle and commands on the right (like now image is on top, info in the middle and commands on the bottom).

This is already possible in Dolphin for KDE 4 :-)
Comment 2 David 2007-08-15 14:30:52 UTC
No it's not, well, you can move it, but you can't put it on top or bottom of the window.
Comment 3 Peter Penz 2007-08-15 14:41:59 UTC
It does not make sense for the treeview sidebar and the places sidebar to put them on top or bottom. For the information sidebar (I think this is what you originally have meant with "sidebar") I agree that it makes sense if we adjust the layout. I'm not sure whether we will have the time to implement this for KDE 4.0, but let's see what we can do in future versions :-)

hmm, places sidebar could be on top of bottom. But yeah, I originally wanted for the information sidebar to be on the bottom...and still do.
