Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages I'm running an IRC bouncer (psybnc) on my office machine, that is always connected to the IRC servers and logs all my channels, even while I'm offline. I then use my IRC clients to connect to that bouncer as an IRC proxy. That way, while online, I can use IRC just as normal and also read the logs of what was written while I was away from the computer. The problem with kopetes IRC plugin is that on exit, it tries to explicitly quit each of my channels, which means that my IRC bouncer will also close the channels and no longer log them while I'm offline.
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
