Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux When I start up Kontact, and then click on the Contacts area, and then select a particular contact, the contact information only stays in focus for a few seconds and then disappears. This behaviour ceases after a few minutes, when it operates normally again. This application is running on a newer Intel Core 2 motherboard running 32 bit Suse 10.2. I'm using KDE 3.5.5 and the Kontact help key says this is version 1.2.3.
The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4. Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
Well, you might as well close it. It's been obvious that you never had any intention of actually looking at KDE3.5 bugs while you have KDE4 to play with. I mean, it's taken KDE 2 years to acknowledge that they don't give a fig about 3.5 users, who are STILL using it.
