Description Francis J. Lacoste 2007-06-14 18:17:02 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

Even if I turn 'Wordwrap' to off in the 'Options' menu, Composer always
word wrap the selection when using the 'Add Quote Characters' menu item.

Same behaviour with the 'Paste as Quotation' menu item.

This is pretty inconvenient especially when pasting 'Diff' text in an email which is horribly wrapped.

Did you change your quote character?
If so, this probably is bug 55021.
Comment 2 Francis J. Lacoste 2007-06-15 16:04:33 UTC
No, it is the default '>'.

Bug 55021 seems to be about word wrapping when replying. This one is about
not honoring the 'Wordwrap' Options when using the Edit action menu items.

It works fine on KDE 4 trunk.
Comment 4 Martin Koller 2009-08-17 20:54:28 UTC
Then let's close it.
