Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.7, Debian Package 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-1 (lenny/sid)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20.11 After the latest KDE upgrade, my regular selection "Hide automatically", "Immediately", and "Raise when the pointer touches the screen's Bottom Edge", results in a permanently hidden panel. I start kcontrol and unhide to get it back. If I attempt to report the kicker bug within kcontrol, I end up with "I don't know anything about kcmkicker. Please submit the bug and select the package manually." Dave
Make sure when your hidding it your "Raise when the pointer touches the screen's" option is not checked. Otherwise you must put the pointer on that edge. This option was altered slightly in 3.5.5 I think, which made it cause an issue for me similar to this.
This is almost certainly a duplicate of #118551. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 118551 ***
