Version: 0.9.4a (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-gentoo-r4-20070330 Some websites embed KMplayer-associated formats with a size too small to display the play control bar. At the very least, the context menu needs to offer access to the "Play", "Stop", and "Record" functions as a workaround for this.
Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
I'm still on KDE 4.13.3 but, if information on KMPlayer 0.11.3d is still useful for you, I can say that, if anything, the problem has changed but isn't fixed. When embedded in an HTML page, there are still no play controls in the context menu, but it now has an on-hover play/pause button and position selector. However, it has regressed when used as a Preview component in Konqueror in that it doesn't display play controls at all. Further, whether in Konqueror or as a standalone application, the context menu isn't even accessible when clicking within the video frame. (Though, when the MPlayer backend is selected, it IS possible to access the context menu by dragging the window so there's background area not covered by the video widget.)

I don't use KMplayer anymore and I'm too busy preparing for Christmas to go out of my way to comply with a "test this now or have it WORKSFORME'd" ultimatum, so let KMplayer bit-rot, I guess.
