Let's say I run a search and I get 100 files in result. It would be great if I could get back to the first tab, mark (not existing now) option "use results as input" and in effect narrow down my searching by running another query on the given set.

When the first search is completed, you can use the "Feed to listbox" button to put all the files in a new tab; then you can search here again for another query (and another one with a second listbox...).

Does it solves your needs?
