Description christophe witek 2007-05-09 11:26:40 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

Every time I receive an HTML e-mail in French, the encoding in the reply windows is bad:

eg: I receive: éééàààççç (in bold format)
when I click on the reply botton, I see the same text in that format:

>
> éééà à à ççç
>

There is no options in the configuration menu to correct that. It's very frustrating.

Can you attach one of those mails please?

No feedback for more than two years. Closing.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
