Description Ladislav Pecho 2007-05-05 01:23:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

How to reproduce:
Write a note containing special accented characters e.g.
Žluťoučký kůň pěl ďábelské ódy. (czech)
(without accents that is "Zlutoucky kun pel dabelske ody.")

Send over network anywhere (for example to 127.0.0.1)
The received note will contain the following text:
?lu?ou?ký k?? p?l ?ábelské ódy.
(Some chars are replaced by questionmarks)

It seems the network feature needs some work, there is currently no support for Unicode or Rich Text :-), them crazy characters get lost in the ASCII translation ( he says in a spaghetti western style accent ).

Work fine in kde 4.2.*
I close it
