Description Justin F. Knotzke 2007-04-30 01:23:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Some podcasts support the idea of chapters. This enables the user to fast forward to sections in a podcast. It would be nice to have this support in amarok AND have this transfered to the iPod. Currently, a podcast with chapters is copied as a file and the DB information regarding chapters is lost.

Indeed, it would be nice to be able to read chapters in AAC podcasts.

gpodder.net timestamps could be used as a source of chapters as well (crowd sourced). The authors think this would be a really awesome feature as well, but there is not client that supports it yet.

So sorry, please disregard this message, there was a misunderstanding with the
Google Code-In student.

If added please also support chaptermarks for mp3 and ogg vorbis
there are some podcasts like radiotux using chaptermarks in all formats
