Version: 2.0.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic I want kcalc to look like this: http://panatel.hu/catalog/images/fx991escat.png And i want to be able to write fractions, one above the other I want a multi line display in kcalc where you can at least type 12 + 12 and press = and see the answer in the line below and for the 12 + 12 to remain in the top line, and for the ability to go back and edit the 12 + 12 and change it to whatever
Sounds like you might like speedcrunch http://speedcrunch.org/ or abakus http://purinchu.net/abakus/
Yup i like those, but still not the natural display, the way you type in fractions and stuff, its not like those calculators, where you get ---- | | ---- ____ ---- | | ---- and you type the numerator at the top and denominator at the bottom, thats what i want to see
+1 vote for anything that will come up from this report, but it would be good to set one issue for this one. The minimum would be (imho) having full edit lines, so one can write (and see it all the time): 20+20= →40 So user does not have to memorize anything. Btw. the screenshot is not longer available.

This is still a not implemented feature... Maybe some developer would like to add the feature?
