Description Raúl 2007-04-23 17:25:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I want to enable transparencies on kde from the kcontrol->Desktop->Windows behaviour->translucencies, Enable translucencies/shadows.

Before this I didn't have them enabled, but after applying and accepting they are not enabled, but instead a dialog appear telling me to restart kde. I think this is an overwarn since just running kompmgr will do the trick and no kde restart is needed.

If I'm right, my proposal is to remove this warning dialog and just run kompmgr.

Thanks.

I don't see any such warning, not even in the code. Maybe a distro patch.
