Version:           3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6 "release 64.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.21-rc6-git4-2-default

Occasionally when kicker is set to auto-hide, it hides but does not show up again. So far I have not found any means to reproduce this error, however it happens once or twice a day, when working continously. If this has happened, even killing and restarting kicker from a konsole does not help (killall kicker, kicker), the new kicker then also goes into permanent hiding.

Changing the autohide settings via kcontrol off and on again restores the normal expected behaviour.

Upon removing write access to 
.kde/share/config/kickerrc the error did not occur any more, but consindering the non-reproducibility this might not mean much.
