Description Christian Hammers 2007-04-16 23:02:55 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler:          - -
OS:                Linux

Addressbook entries are usually stored as
  Given Name: Christian
  Last Name: Hammers
  -> Formatted Name: Hammers, Christian
as browsing them by their family name is most common.

The address label on the other hand should *not* use the formatted name but the as-is name as
letters never use reverse-comma format for their envelope labels. So my address label should
be displayed and printed as
  Christian Hammers
  Roermonder Straße 112a
  52072 Aachen

bye,

-christian-

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
