Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3.1) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-11-generic I forgot to initially edit my SMTP settings in knode. My first message was not sent, of course. I changed the settings to "external mailer" (I _guess_ Kmail ist ment, a bit more documentation what "external" ist would be nice. Applications in Kontact are not really "external"). Ok, so I did this change but the message couldn't be sent. I created a new message at that point (a dublicate) and _this_ was sent! This behavoir is not obvious for me. Why was the older one not sent after changing the SMTP settings? Can I "see" how the message wants to send itself? Jan
