Version:           0.12.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)

When you activate composite effects for KWin and enable shadows for windows, the balloon popups look like a mess: The shadows still assume a squared window and thus the shadow is far too large.

I would like to either have shadows disabled for these balloons, or have the possibility to enable square popups (like those normal notification windows).

The best of course would be to tweak the composite support in KWin to support non-square windows. It does seem to work with beryl!
