Description Cédric Lucantis 2007-03-10 16:36:40 UTC
Version: 1.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-6 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux

Umbrello doesn't check for duplicate names when you move an item to another folder. To reproduce:

- create a folder 'foo'
- create a class 'bar' in that folder
- create another class 'bar' outside of the folder
- drag and drop the second class into the folder

Umbrello will then happily live with two classes of the same name (while it won't allow it if you create the class directly into the folder).

It has been fixed on KDE4: when you paste the class bar to the foo folder, a rename input box appears for renaming the pasted class.

P.S: drag and drop doesn't work for moving/copying classes on the UML model tree view
