Description Devon Warren 2007-03-06 06:29:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux

I think it should be easier to configure the extra keys on a keyboard. It would be nice if you could set a command or go through a list of default actions and set it to a specific multimedia key.

Also it would be great if there could be a xml file with this data on it for that keyboard so keyboard manufacturers could finally ship driver cds with Linux support and maybe there could be a big database with these files stored in it.

Just some ideas that I think would enhance KDE a bunch. I don't like having to go through Lineak just to get my extra keys working.
