Description Robert 2007-03-05 16:12:50 UTC
Version: 1.2.4 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-11-generic

This is really annoying that I can only set the color for categories and not for the calendars. The only color which I can do for the calendars are the frames around it.

 This is unproductive as all other calendars and programs have the ability to colore code the entire event relating to a specific calendar.

 Say I have subscribed to upcoming.org and quickly want to see the events relating to that calendar. It is unproductive to look for those tiny say blue or red frames for these events. The entire event should be red if the calendar is marked red in color.

 There should be an option to enable this.

All it would need to implement calendar colors in the agenda view is to add a config widget/item in the config dlg (e.g. a combo box with entries "No colors", "Use Category colors", "Use Calendar colors", "Calendar color as frame, Category color as background") and implement the correct color selection for frame and background in the file korganizer/koagendaitem.cpp around lines 730-760.

Cheers,
Reinhold

Go to prefs and to:

views->agenda view->Only Calendar.

Same for month view.
