I have yahoo account, let's call it Master1 which I don't use often. I use a profile under than account to message, called Profile1. Profile1 is the username used when setting up the Kopete yahoo account. When messaging with this account, the other party receives the message from Profile1, but they get a 'Now Typing' notification from Master1. This is both obnoxious and confusing. The behaviour has been observed with multiple other users, using both Gaim and the official Yahoo plugin. The only constant seems to be Kopete. The behaviour is not seen if I log in via Gaim.

Yahoo profiles are simply not supported yet. You can file a wishlist item if you want.
