Description jrl 2007-02-18 23:52:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

I rip audiobooks and music CD's with different settings and I can do that very easy by creating a new encoder and then changing the parameters to the command line. The problem I have with this is that the "encoded file location" is used for all encoders. I like my audiobooks in a very different location. Currently I have two text files stored away and I have to cut/paste the location setup for whichever type CD I am ripping. It would be very handy if this element was set per encoder (like Name, Command Line, and Extension in Configure Encoder dialog). Maybe a general one is ok, as long as I still had an option in the configure encoder dialog to override the general setting.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kaudiocreator

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
