Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Currently KMail has problem with whitespaces in templates, for example %REM something%-<a here is the space at the end> %QUOTE This it quite trivial example of course. Anyway, the problem is they are not seen but they matter when the template is used. a) do the whitespaces at the end are important? if no, I think it would be the best to strip them b) if (a)-yes maybe put gray boxes instead of whitespaces I would opt for (a) -- easy, efficient, and for any case if it would matter for the user it could be a equivalent <space>%NL when %NL stands for new line (but I don't even know if such macro exists in templates).
PS. (c) same as (a) but with extra tag %SPACE if anyone really needs space Now I opt for (c) it is even easier to do and much more elegant :-)
Mass-changing component to "templates" and adding original template author to CC list.
