Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I know it's a big thing, but I still think it's worth considering. Especially that it would make KDE more usable and user-friendly. Suppose you have two monitors attached (eg. to a notebook). It would be great to run one KDE instance on both of them, but also to be able to specify that the second monitor is not supposed to clone the first display, but may show some other virtual desktops. In other words: Two (or more) displays. One KDE session. Multiple virtual desktops (as usual). Each display showing one of the virtual desktops (and each showing kicker). You can switch the keyboard input to go to one of the displays. You can switch between virtual desktops for each display.
