Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE 3.5.6 "release 19.1" , openSUSE ) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.2-34-default By default, attachments in a PGP-encrypted mail show up as Attachment1 [details].pgp, Attachment2 [details].pgp and so on. It would be nice if Kmail can decrypt them together with the text of the message. The sender of the message used PGP Desktop 9.5.3 (Build 5003)
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Actually the behavior has not changed: You still get an 'attchment1.pgp', which will then be opened with PGP. kPGP starts, and nothing more happenes (you have to save the attachment first, then decrypt it, then launch it with the right application). A user-firendly behaviour would be: - kmail2 to decrypt attachment as well - show decrypted attachement (in its native format) - be able to launch/see the attachment with the right application, same as for attachments in unencrypted mails. -> changed to kmail2, change status to 'unconfirmed' can one of the maintainers confirm? Send me a PM if you need an encrypted testmail
Is this accepted as feature request in KMail2?
