Version: 0.5.0-beta1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: g++ (GCC) 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21) OS: Linux Kmobiletools shows only an incomplete list of the short messages on the phone. This is true for the inbox as well for the outbox. It seems that the missing messages are longer than 160 characters, ie multipart messages. The phone i'm using is a Motorola razr v3. The following sms-slots are discovered and marked active: "BM, DM, IM, MT, OM". Access is done via the AT-engine, device is /dev/ttyACM0.
Confirmed. When manually retrieving SMS list in PDU mode, multipart messages are not listed. Retrieving in TEXT mode does list all messages. This could be a bug in the Motorola V3. I guess TEXT mode should be used with Motorola V3 phones then.
I'd need a log, you can found kmobiletools logs in /tmp/kde-$USER/kmobiletools/ Better to send them directly to me through email, since logs can contain personal informations.
This should have been partially solved with beta2, and even better with beta3. I'll close the bug report soon, if i will continue having no confirmations.
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug.
