Description Kevin Goeser 2007-01-28 11:36:16 UTC
Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Schedutils allow to start processes with a different i/o priority and also change the i/o priority of already running processes. Integration into the process listing of ksysguard would be great (including asking for a password, if root rights are required).

Starting a process in "Run..." (ALT-F2) with a given ionice, would also be great - shall I file a separate wish?

Cheers :)
   Kevin

It now has the feature that it shows you the ioniceness of a process.

This is now done in kde4 in ksysguard. File a separate wish against krunner for that.

Thanks for implementing this feature! I opened the wish with bug #152169 for krunner.

Lovely work, John, I really appreciate this feature. Pitty the nice one doesn't work (IOnice is OK)... see my bugreport ;-)
