Description Iñaki Baz Castillo 2007-01-27 15:41:48 UTC
Version: desconocido (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-386

Kmail 1.9.6 in Kubuntu 6.10 with KDE upgraded to 3.4.6.

Maybe this bug is related to bug #81416 (not sure).

I have many folders configured with "B" identity, and just one of them with "A" identity.
"A" identity is defined before "B" identity in preferences.

All these mails in all these folders share the POP account and are moved to each folder by filters. Most of them are mail list in fact, but not all (some of them are filtered by Subjet instead of Mail-Id).

I see two cases:

- I get a mail related to a mail list in a "B" identity folder. When I reply (R) or (L) the identity choosen is "B" identity, that is correct. Of course, because the "mail-id" header Kmail acts as I press L when I press R.

- I get a mail NOT related to any mail list in a "B" identity folder. I just can reply to sender (R) but then "A" identity is choosen. ¿?¿?¿¿?¿

I've revised my configuration many times. If there any data I can provide to solve this issue?

This bug is back in version 1.9.7 (KDE 3.5.8)
I have many accounts. One identity is set to default (lest call it D)
When i reply to e-mail in account A's "sent" folder (identity is also set to A), the identity D is used.
This is extremely annoying and cause me loads of problems.

My experience with this problem (KMail 1.9.9, KDE 3.5.9) is with IMAP accounts.

I have four accounts and identities (all @gmail.com). Whenever I reply to an email in any of the accounts' inboxes, the correct identity is displayed in the reply box, but the email is actually sent with the default identity.

This is a security issue!
