Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

I believe that there is a problem with the timer that KDE has to check when the monitor should be turned off or when the screen-saver should start.
I have set the screen-saver to start after 2min, and the monitor to turn off after 5 min.
What I am seeing right now is that the monitor will switch off, I do not know after now many minutes, but after a while it will switch back on. 
On the other hand, screen saver does not start at all.

I am using KDE 3.5.6, xinerama is enabled, on Gentoo 2.6.19-ck2. I am running xorg-7.1.1 and DPMS is not enabled.
