Description Olivier Aubert 2007-01-24 11:23:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

The transfer of tracks to the media device is extremely useful. However, with a limited size media device (256MB), it is important to know the size of transferred data. It would be really nice to have this information in the context menu (below the item "Transfer to media device" for instance), which would display the size of elements as well as the free size on the media device. This is in fact the same information as is displayed at the bottom of the MediaDevice tab, but accessible directly from the Collection tab.

Bug 177394 is related to this one.
I also miss the indication of space left/to be used in the MTP device.

Similar to bug 92630
Comment 3 Mikko C. 2009-08-04 10:18:48 UTC
I think this should be fairly easy since Amarok already checks the size before doing the actual transfer.

Okay, I'm marking this as a duplicate of more general bug 219963, but I will remember to include this special use-case when solving it.
