Version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: x86_64-mandriva-linux-gnu OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.17-5mdv In konqueror bookmarks toolbar i have a folder that haves manby bookmarks (35 bookmarks), and now when i click in that bookmark folder konqueror alreadys selects a bookmark and starts going to that url instead just popup the bookmark folder. In the last time i build kdebase from branch_3.5 (in 21 DEcember of 2006), konqueror was working fine when clicking in that bookmark folder, it just popup that folder so that i could then select a bookmark.
Cant this be fixed before kde-3.5.6 be officaly released?
No, 3.5.6 is already tagged.
So nowi ask, why this bug is appearing again when i packaged kde from 21 December 2006 and at that time was ok.
The problem is that when the bookmark folder is longer than the screen, the bookmark list appears over the folder button, so the mouseButtonRelease event gets sent to the bookmark item instead of the folder button.
Can anyone please put some time on this to get is fixed? Is very annoying to click in a folder from the bookmark toolbar and simply direct to a not chosen bookmark, since isnt possible to select a bookmark item.
I just noticed that the same happens with top-level application menus (eg, try adding lots of bookmarks to the top-level folder), so I suppose this is a Qt issue. You might want to report it to Qt.
Sorry but that isnt correct, it only happens in konqueror, this is a kde problem that like i said in first post, kdebase from branch_3.5 (in 21 December of 2006), konqueror was working fine (regarding boormarks of course)
Would you care to undo the change to qt component.
