Ok, 

This is basiclly a duplicate of the following: 

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102023

BUT I enter some birthdays in the calander and not all of them from contacts only, so it is not ok for me to just "turn off" viewing calander birthdays. Seems with the summary view you could add some kind of if statement that says.. If "Birthday on Contact" = True and Birthday Field (in contact) = Set, then Do not show Calander Birthday (for that single entry). 

Not sure, but this is really really annoying... Hopefully it can be set to show only one instance with both "Calander" and "Contacts" optoins listed.
