KOrganizer should remember the place and size where the user has moved the last new-date-dialogue.

KDE can be configured to control many window properties, including size and position. Presently by default the dialog's size is remembered, but the position is not. You can change this by right-clicking the windows title bar and selecting "More Actions" ยป "Configure Special Window Settings". See also the Window Management" tab in System Settings.
