Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Hello. I always use the preview pane with kmail. I works fine except sometime an image within a message does not shows up in the preview. The place for image is reserved and I can see a small unknown icon on the upper left side. The message seams well formatted because after the empty box for the image the message continue its way just like if it was there. When I double click on the same message it appears properly in another window with image well rendered this time. This behavior does not appear often and I do not have figure out why some of them are ok or not. See screenshot.

I get exactly the same behavior in KDE 4.2 from opensuse > kmail --version Qt: 4.5.0 KDE: 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 83.3" KMail: 1.11.0

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
